Considered one of the best Jiu-Jitsu instructors in the world Master Caique has more than 35 years of experience.
He has trained with Grand Master Helio Gracie and his sons.
Trained with Master Relson Gracie up to his Purple Belt and Master Rickson Gracie until Black Belt.
Master Caique received his Red and Black Belt from Master Rickson Gracie in the beginning of 2010.
Master Caique won the Brazilian Nationals, which is the biggest tournament in the world multiple times in his competing days.
Master Caique is the Master Instructor and oversees all of the programs at Caique Jiu-Jitsu.
Master Caique has built the Caique Jiu-Jitsu network, which consists of 15 associated schools in the U.S. and Canada and teaches seminars about Caique Jiu-Jitsu all over the world.


Pedro Elias

About Pedro:Pedro has always credited his father, Master Caique and his move to live with him as the major influence in his training and evolution in Jiu-Jitsu.

Black Belt Professor
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and moved to the U.S. in 1998.
Began practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 6 years old under Royler Gracie at Gracie Humaita.
Pedro has been actively involved in BJJ competitions since he was 13 years old.
Competing in the adult division, Pedro managed to win the Gracie Nationals at the young age of 13 years old. He was described by many as a nightmare for his adult opponents.
Pedro has gained international notoriety by winning and placing in many Gi and No Gi tournaments around the world.
Living the Jiu-Jitsu life style he spends his time perfecting his techniques and developing our curriculum.
He is the Head of the Youth and Adult Basics program at Caique Jiu Jitsu. He also travels around the country conducting seminars and teaching BJJ.


Dave Arredondo

About David:“I was amazed at the simple, effective and leveraged based techniques of the Jiu-Jitsu art.”

Black Belt Instructor
Began Jiu-Jitsu at 12 years ago at the Gracie Academy in Torrance where he met Master Caique.
He has served a tour in the United States Army Airbone unit, in which he participated in real-world missions in both Central America and the Middle East.
He is currently employed as a security/protection specialist for a Fortune 100 company.
In his spare time he enjoys spending time surfing and traveling whenever possible.
He received his Black Belt from Master Caique in June of 2010.
He is currently one of our Main Instructors of the Basics program.


Albert Alvarado

About Albert:Albert received his Black Belt at our Fall 2010 ceremony.

Black Belt Instructor
He is Head Instructor at our affiliate school Total Zen in Walnut, CA.
His brother Art, also received a Black Belt from Master Caique and runs the affiliate school Houston Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Club in Texas.
He is one of our main instructors of the Basics program.





Mike Boggio

About Mike:“I am honored to be an instructor at Caique Jiu-Jitsu”

Brown Belt Instructor
Mike started training in 1999 at the Gracie Academy under Professor Caique.
Mike first began Jiu-Jitsu as a practical study of self-defense but quickly developed an appreciation of the art form.
Mike has enjoyed opportunities to instruct under Caique Jiu-Jitsu at UCLA, for the Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks.




Thomaz Elias

About Thomaz: “Jiu Jitsu is as much a part of my life as eating and breathing, and that’s the dedication I bring with me to class and hope to spread to everyone.”

Brown Belt  Instructor
Started training the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu at a very young age.
Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Became very dedicated to Jiu-Jitsu upon his move to the U.S. .
Thomaz started competing as an adult on his 14th birthday and managed to place 2nd at the Best of the West, an impressive showing with many wins by submission.
Thomaz has won numerous tournaments, namely the World Championship in 2007.
Thomaz has always credited his father, Master Caique and his move to the U.S. to live with him and his brother as the major influence in his training and evolution in Jiu-Jitsu.
Thomaz assits in the Adult Basics classes and teaches private classes at Caique Jiu-Jitsu.
