When asked if Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is recommended for women my answer is always
“It’s the best knowledge a woman can get in order to feel safe”.
Why? Because normally when a woman gets attacked, the attacker is not trying to box or kick-box with her.
The attacker most likely wants to grab her and control her movements and this often includes taking her to the ground.
Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is perfect for that type of confrontation.
Benefits of BJJ for Women

- Women’s classes are open to only women.
